I was reading the newspaper today when I came accross this Resort which is situated in Johor, Malaysia. Here I am questioning where to go for the weekend and this beach resort is practically near me !
As commented by one of the visitors ( he is a Qiqong master from China ) : “The qi here is stronger than Indonesia’s Bali and Cambodia’s Angkor Wat combined.” Since then, he has come back regularly – not alone but with others in tow.
But his is not the only spiritual group making annual pilgrimages to this secluded resort on the east coast of Johor. A group of yoga practitioners and members of a Catholic church, both from Singapore, have made the resort their weekend retreat.

The resort is called Tanjung Sutera Resort, which is situated in Sedili, Kota Tinggi in Johor, Malaysia.

Though it’s not a typical Johor destination, Tanjung Sutera Resort is not hard to find. From South, take the Kota Tinggi-Mersing route and look out for Tanjung Sedili sign. Turn towards Kuala Sedili Besar and you will see a signboard to Tanjung Sutera Resort at the end of bridge.
Time for the beach in Kuala Sedili..
From Mersing, drive south to Kota Tinggi. About 20km from Tanjung Leman, there is a left turn bearing the resort signboard. However, if you miss this turn, there is another right turn before the bridge at Kuala Sedili Besar.
