Rojak means a mixture of many different things. It is the same as the salad you can find in western countries. This dish has been very much appreciated by malaysian. There are many types of Rojak, malay Rojak, indian Rojak, Penang Rojak, fruits Rojak, Rojak with cuttlefish and others.<br /><br />In Malay Rojak, ingredients used are yau cha kway, pieces of turnip, cucumber and pineapplesare mixed with a sweet gravy with peanuts. Heat oil and fry the spice paste until aromatic and smell spicy. Add the peanuts, tamarind juice, water, sugar, sweet soy sauce and stir thoroughly. Simmer in low heat while continue stirring for about 3 minutes until the peanut sauce turns smooth.
